Rev. Fr. Abraham Elijah Quarshie

The Rev. Father Abraham Elijah Quarshie was born at Kwashieman in April, 1968 to Mr. Ado Mensah Quarshie of cherished memory and Madam Cecilia Adoley Addo from Ofankor in the Ga West Municipality of the Greater Accra.
He began his primary and middle school education at the Kwashieman Anglican School. Fr. Quarshie did further studies in Mechanical Engineering at the National Vocational Training Institute with a speciality in Lathe Turning and Metal Works.
Rev. Fr. Abraham Elijah Quarshie an Anglican served as a servant of the sancturary, Chorister, Lay Reader, Officiant, Bible Study Leader, Prayer Leader, Youth Leader at the st. Luke Anglican Church, Kwashieman.
Rev. Fr. Abraham Elijah Quarshie felt called to serve the Lord full time. He begun his theological education at the St. Nicholas Theological Seminary, Cape Coast from 1996-1999. He continued to the Valley View University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts (Theology) in 2011. He thereafter enrolled at the University of Cape Coast to earn the Master of Arts degree in Guidance and Counselling.
He has an interest in evangelism and youth work, so he was made the Chaplain to the Boys and Girls Brigade at both St. Mary’s and St. Peter’s Brigades. He was also the Diocessan Director of Youth and Children having earlier served as the Chaplain of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew.
He is married to Madam Theodora Quarshie and they are blessed with biological and foster children. They are Grace, Obed, Feruzah, Nii Tackie, Sandra and Agnes.
