Rev. Rose Teteki Abbey

The Rev. Rose Teteki Abbey was born at Atua-Odumase Krobo to Mr. Godfrey Tetteh Aminarh and Madam Cecilia Mamle Konotey in July, 1962. She began her primary and middle school education at Kodjonya Presbyterian Primary School and Kaneshie West “1”Middle school. She then continued her education at Aburi Girls Secondary School.

She had her theological education at the Trinity Theological Seminary, Legon after which she was commissioned in June 1989 and ordained in July, 1991. She furthered her education at Mingolo Ecumenical Foundation,Kitwe Zambia. She also attended the University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom to earn the Masters in Theology and Development, having earlier earned the Diploma in Theology and Diploma in Women’s Leadership.
She has had the privilege to serve the following Presbyterian Congregations: Osu Ebenezer, Osu North, Palatinate, Landau-Germany, Protestant Church of Austria, Ebenezer Mamprobi and Resurrection – Accra. She was also the Clerk of the GA Presbytery from September 2010 to August 2014.
Rev. Rose Teteki Abbey is married to Rev. Victor Okoe Abbey with two daughters, Joy Naa Kooko Abbey and Salome Anorkor Abbey.
