Young Adults Fellowship

On September, 2009 during Tema Joint Church Annual General Meeting, a member, Bro. Sena Adjabeng, pointed out that some young members of the Church did not belong to any group because members of the existing groups were either much older or younger than they were. He then asked the Church to help form a group that young adults of the Church can belong to and contribute to the Church growth and enhance their own spiritual and social growth.

The interim committee put together a draft constitution, organized elections to elect their first Committee Executive Members. The aims and objectives of the Fellowship are to:

1. Mobilize young people of the church between the ages of 24 and 40 years and to equip them for the work of God. 2. Equip the young people spiritually, socially and mentally to become catalyst of positive change in this generation. 3. Provide a platform for young people to unleash their various gifts and potentials. 4. Encourage young people to find meaning and purpose in life to portray the beauty of practical Christianity. The fellowship has seven patrons who have been of help through support advice. They are the Resident Minister, Bro. Kwame Opoku, Bro. Micheal Djan and Sis. Dr. Margaret Gyapong. The group holds Bible study sessions, prayer meetings, seminars, talks on marriage and single life, healthy living and stress management, sleep disorders and management of personal branding and investment.
