Music Ministry

The Music Ministry is made up of The Church Choir, United Praise and the United Voices. The spiritual mandate of these groups is to render hymns, songs as well as praises and worship during normal church activities.

This Ministry, which is as old as the Church itself, began with only 8 volunteers in 1993, but can now boast of about seventy (70) performers serving their maker through songs and worship to the glory of God. After the establishment of the Church Choir in 1993, it was followed by the setting up of the Youth Band in 2005 and the Junior Band in 2008. The Junior choir however remains inactive since its formation in 2010 due to the irregular attendance of members, who are mainly students. There’s still hope in reviving this group again in the very near future. Below are the leaders of the Ministry

Activitites

Programme of activities are outlined for the Music Ministry every year. The music groups have been engaged in activities such as concerts, music festivals, gospel rock shows, visitations to patrons and members, retreats, music workshops, honouring invitations within and elsewhere. The group is also punctual to church activities such as Sunday services, weddings and funeral services.
